A Few Facts About This Enchanting Holiday Haven
It's on Mallorca, an island popular for being the best of Spain in miniature — mountains, marinas, caves, coves, long sandy beaches and an attractive capital city, all on an island small enough to be handy, big enough not to be boring.
It’s in the mountains, but looks down at the sea, only 8 kilometres away just beyond a lush green valley.
It’s less than half an hour from Palma de Mallorca, a major Mediterranean port and historical city.
It was designed by Pedro Otzoup, one of Spain’s most renowned architects.
Each accommodation has a private sea-view South-facing terrace (one of them has two), a kitchen or kitchenette, en suite bathroom, and the houses each have one bedroom and one sitting room (one of them has two bedrooms and two baths), while the studios have a combined sitting room/bedroom. The smallest is about 45 square metres in size, including the private terrace, and the largest 180 square metres.

A small studio: bath, kitchenette & terrace not shown.
The cottages and studios are part of a small complex of attractive buildings scattered down a hillside at the top of a valley in a tranquil forested area off the tourist track — a lovely spot for relaxing, walking, birdwatching (the area is famous for it) or more active sports like rock climbing, sailing, scuba diving, or riding.
It’s in an area that gets 300 days of sunshine every year.
Fine restaurants are less than 5 kilometres away, and there are local places for tapas or sandwiches or evening meals in season.
The complex shares three acres (1.3 hectares) of mature gardens with palms, flowers, cacti, fruit and fig trees and there is an outdoor swimming pool with a swim-jet, a self-serve bar, an exercise room and sauna, and a communal sitting room and a kitchen to prepare meals for groups.
All the accommodations will be handed over fully furnished and with top quality English beds with goosedown pillows and Ralph Lauren’s best quality sheets. The general decor is in a sophisticatedly rustic style, with pretty cotton fabrics, comfortable chairs, teak tables and loungers on the terraces and cheerful pictures on the walls. The kitchens are fully equipped. The entire complex has been recently renewed and restored and renovated and is easy maintenance and low upkeep. There are DVD players, TVs with satellite connections, individual electrical meters, and central heating, though seven of the units have stoves or fireplaces. |
