The Fine Print

These official rules govern the conduct of the project. By purchasing a hotel voucher, you agree to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of  Scott Properties Inc., which shall be final.

ELIGIBILITY: Voucher purchasers must be 18 years of age or older. No employees of Scott Properties Inc. or any of its affiliated companies or members of its board of directors or those living in their households are eligible to participate. The same ineligibility applies to the independent accounting firm and bank employees associated with the drawings, public relations consultants and their employees and family members. Prize winners may be required to submit a signed affidavit of eligibility, photo identification, and other identifying information or else might be deemed ineligible to claim the prize.

VOUCHERS: A maximum of  33,333 vouchers will be sold. If fewer vouchers are sold, the odds of winning the prizes increase. Prizewinners agree that Scott Properties, Inc. will be able to use their names and/or likenesses for media including television, radio, web and print. The list of prizewinners will be published on the project website. No more than three persons may share a voucher. Vouchers ordered as a gift must have the name of the purchaser listed as Name 1 and the gift recipient name designated as Name 2 (e.g. John Doe, gift). Named ticket-holders may not be changed without advance notice in writing.

VOUCHER ORDERS: Vouchers are 150 euros each and may be purchased solely from Scott Properties Inc. You may buy as many vouchers as you wish, subject to availability. To order vouchers, you must be registered with us via our website. Vouchers may not be purchased in any other way apart from via the use of a valid credit card, PayPal, or bank instrument such as a draft, money order or cheque. No cash will be accepted. Voucher orders accompanied by valid credit card numbers (MasterCard, Visa, Eurocard or qualifying debit cards), expiration dates and card holder signature or check/money order will be processed in the approximate order in which they are received and verified. Make cheques/money orders payable to Scott Properties Inc. Scott Properties Inc. will reject any voucher order if the cheque or credit card payment is not honoured or is returned for insufficient funds or if a payment is made but later reclaimed. The voucher receipt(s) will be emailed to the first named voucherholder. Vouchers may be sold or transferred by the purchasing party or anyone else if notification of the name of the new voucherholder is given to Scott Properties Inc..

REFUNDS: All voucher sales are 100% refundable until such time as the voucher's number has participated in a draw to win a prize, after which the voucher is no longer refundable. Any voucher order with payment received after 33,333 vouchers have been sold will be returned. Scott Properties Inc. assumes no responsibility for lost, late, misdirected or non-delivered post, email or fax messages, or any other failure to receive orders or deliver receipts prior to the drawing deadlines. A participant's sole and exclusive remedy for Scott Properties Inc. breach shall be limited to the return of the purchase price paid for his or her voucher(s). In no event shall Scott Properties Inc. or its directors, officers, employees, agents or representatives be liable to any party for any loss or injuries to earnings, profits or goodwill, or for any incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages of any person or entity whether arising in contract, tort or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

PRIZES : All winners will be notified by email  and advised by name via telephone or post where possible and verified by matching the voucher number with information in Scott Properties Inc.'s records including the voucher order form with the purchaser's secret code. All prizes awarded to a winning voucher shall be shared equally among the named voucherholders, a maximum of three. Prizes will be handed over with all costs and taxes paid. If any winner cannot be located after reasonable attempts to do so by Scott Properties Inc., or if any winner is deemed to be ineligible or does not otherwise claim his or her prize by 5:00 p.m. on the day that is 90 calendar days following the drawing, such winner will be deemed to have forfeited his or her prize. A list of winners may be obtained by writing to Scott Properties Inc or by visiting the website where a list of winners will be posted. Requests must be received in a 30 calendar day period following the nomination of the winners. Scott Properties Inc., its directors, officers, employees, agents and representatives are not responsible for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of a winner's use of any prize. Each prizewinner agrees to indemnify, defend and hold Scott Properties Inc., its directors, officers, employees, agents and representatives harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of such winner's acceptance or use of any prize.

DRAWINGS: Registered purchasers who refer other registered purchasers will be eligible for multiple drawings for cash as well as the final grand prize random choices for the ten properties to be given away, listed in the Spanish property archives and registered in Book 151 of the archives of the Town Hall of Puigpuynent, Mallorca, Islas Baleares, Volume 3340, Edifice 1343 Dated 12 June, 1992, Entry No. 388.

CASH PRIZES : First Prize: 10,000 euros. Second prize: 5,000 euros. Early Bird prize vouchers to be drawn. To be eligible, registered voucherholders will need to comply with the following conditions: to be eligible for the 10,000 euros drawing, a voucherholder must have referred no fewer than 10 other voucher purchasers and be mentioned specifically by name in their registration email. Similarly, to be eligible for the 5,000 euros drawing, a voucherholder must have referred five other purchasers in a similar way. Early Bird prizes will be awarded among the first voucher purchasers, a list of whom shall be created and from which list one name/number will be drawn after the sale of each group of 333 Early Bird vouchers, each winner to receive ten extra vouchers as specified in the individual drawings. All vouchers, including winning numbers, will be re-entered for the distribution of the final prizes.

FINAL PRIZE ALLOCATIONS : Winning vouchers will be chosen at random by a person or nominated persons, or a machine. Scott Properties Inc. will post notice of the date of the allocations and its location on its website and the process will be broadcast on the Internet. No other notice of drawing date or location will be provided. You need not be present to win.

Winners are strongly advised to seek professional legal, tax, investment and property advice. Scott Properties Inc. may elect to be helpful in this regard. Insurance liability for the properties, excluding the common areas of the pool, gardens, car park, and common ground shall become the responsibility of the individual winners on a date seven calendar days following the handing over of the property to the winners.

Scott Properties Inc. does not represent, warrant or guarantee any statements beyond those contained in this text, and cannot be responsible for reports in the press or on websites other than this one.

Eventual prizewinners will share on an equal basis in the management company to be formed to see to the maintenance of the gardens and grounds, the upkeep of the pool and other shared amenities, to be responsible for advising the propertyholders of shared expenses such as for the lighting of the common areas, insurance, and the care and security of any properties to be let to non-owners. Scott Properties Inc. shall not participate in these activities and shall have no further responsibility for such activities once the prizewinners have taken possession of their properties and shares in the management company.

Promotional bonuses are not transferrable, are eligible for the draws but not for hotel use, and are restricted to use by the original voucherholder.

Each voucher is priced at 150 euros.
A 4% charge will be levied to cover credit card processing charges.
A maximum of 33,333 vouchers will be issued.
Each voucher will carry an individual number from 1 to 33,333.
There is no restriction on the number of vouchers that may be purchased, but each voucher must carry the name of a physical person or a company or club or other legally constituted entity.
Vouchers may be given as gifts, but the company must be notified in order to put the name of the recipient in our registration records. Minors (under 18 years of age) may not hold a voucher.
Vouchers may be sold to a third party, but the company must be notified of the name of the purchaser in order to alter our records accordingly.
Voucherholders wishing to use a voucher in part payment for a stay at the hotels must identify themselves as voucherholders when making a reservation.
Vouchers used for hotel accommodation must be used for deluxe rooms or suites unless used in the context of a four night stay in a superior room.
Vouchers used for hotel accommodation are subject to a three night minimum stay.
Vouchers used after the prize drawings may only be used in the townhouse hotel.
Vouchers used for accommodation in the hotels are subject to room availability.
Vouchers may not be combined with, or used in conjunction with, other special offers or sale rates.
All vouchers are limited in use to one voucher per three nights.
All voucher sales are subject to a 100% no quibble money-back guarantee until such time as a voucher has taken place in a drawing, at which point the sale is final and no money can be offered back.
Vouchers must be used before 31 December, 2012.
Winners will be given legal possession of the properties upon the conclusion of the ten draws.
Prior to taking legal possession, winners may stay for a week in their prize property at no cost.
In the event the raffle is interrupted prior to completion, the company reserves the right to repurchase the properties from winners at their assessed value.
